There are very little dragon-based games. Your game is filling up a very uncontested market: Fans of dragons. Continue feeding into the player's dragon fantasy.Or at least, slow them down progression wise. Since the try-hard, unkillable players won't be able to get new abilities. This could help bridge the winning and losing team closer together.Once it's full, you can unlock a new ability UPON DEATH. ![]() ![]() How about a gold system instead? Killing enemies, collecting treasure chests, shooting a cart that explodes and scatters gold, etc will fill up a gold "bar". Instead of unlocking abilities after a 1-minute round.Overhaul how rounds work/abilities unlocked in the match.I've only played a couple of rounds so it could be just that. But if you're targeting a competitive audience, you're gonna need to bring the A-game when it comes to the skill ceiling. (And that's OK!) It's a very comfortable game to play. The reliance on lock-on aim has made the shooting very casual friendly. This makes it very difficult to get into "the groove" and is extremely annoying. You play for a minute, the game pauses and a long animation plays. After 2-3 games, I've gotten a reasonable grasp on the game's movement system. Despite some criticisms, the controls are well thought out. I especially love the subsurface scattering on the dragon's wings. The movements of the dragons, the lighting and the effects are incredibly well done. Anyone whom I talk to about this game has their ears perked up when I say "dragon-based combat online shooter". ![]()
